Pilates is a group training workout that focuses on your core muscles (abdomen, back and thighs) to promote strength, balance and flexibility. For older adults, or those with chronic pain (such as arthritis or fibromyalgia) or sports injuries, Pilates offers a muscle-toning, endurance-building workout with very little impact on sore muscles or stiff joints.
